Build your city's route and sell it or give it away. Whoever receives it walks it at their own pace, on the day they choose, discovering each stop instead of following an umbrella.
You pick the point on the map and how close they must get, from a few metres to a city block. The phone compares its position with yours and only opens the step on arrival. Nothing to install.
Every challenge is a different apparatus: questions, codes, places, photos, the phone's own sensors. You combine them in any order, with no limit on steps, and each one takes a minute to fill in.

Every challenge has five levels, and a level isn't a label: it changes the tries, the wait after a miss, whether a clock is running and whether the on-screen aids show. Your eight-year-old nephew and your brother, who thinks he's very clever, don't need the same thing.
Pick the type, write what they'll read, tick the right answer. That's one step. Repeat it as often as you like, drag to change the order, and publish: the link and the QR come out ready.

I set it up for my boyfriend's birthday with 8 steps through the places where we've shared memories. It took me an afternoon, and he still talks about it. The GPS step that took him to the restaurant of our first date was the perfect ending.
